MyTribe101 Travel Department General Terms and Conditions
DEPOSIT PAYMENTS: A non-refundable land deposit of EUR175 per person is required for all our trips and travel offerings. Deposits are required within 5 days of making the reservation.
CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS: We accept most major credit cards as well as Laser and Visa Debit cards. We deal directly with our customers so you will not need the services of a travel agent. If you are using a travel agent, your agent needs to provide us with the card holder's information, including billing address and must have the card holder's signature on file. Your online transactions are secure and all payment details are entered on a secure page via PayPal.
FINAL PAYMENTS: Full payment must be made no later than 70 days prior to departure date. MyTribe101 accepts payment by above credit cards or Electronic Bank Transfer. If payment is not received as scheduled and you do not contact us in advance, your reservation will automatically cancel and your deposit payment become forfeit.
DOCUMENTATION: Tours will incur a fee of €35 per reservation if they require physical documentation & welcome pack/flight bag etc. Subsequently, we provide electronic documents free of charge for all bookings. Flight bag can be collected at reception of your first nights hotel.
PARTICIPANT CANCELLATIONS: All cancellations must be advised in writing (by mail or e-mail) to MyTribe101 and acknowledged by MyTribe101 (e.g. replied to by us within a reasonable amount of time) prior to tour departure during normal business hours (9:00 am to 5:00 pm GMT/BST, Mondays through Fridays). Cancellations received within 70 days of departure date are subject to the following penalties:
• Between: 70 days or longer Forfeiture of deposit
• 69 & 46 days 25% per person
• 45 & 8 days 35% per person
• 7 & 1 days 50% per person
• On day of departure 100% per person
• Minimum cancellation fees are €35 per person.
TRAVEL PROTECTION PLAN: Unfortunately we are unable to offer travel insurance policies to persons travelling on our tours, but we do require all passengers to have the appropriate best travel insurance policy. Please ask your local insurance provider / bank.
TOUR MEMBERSHIP: To promote an enriching travel experience, MyTribe101 reserves the right to reject any client whose conduct is incompatible with the interest of the tour group.
TRAVELERS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS: Passengers necessitating unique attention must advise MyTribe101 at time of booking. Passengers who require particular assistance must travel with a qualified travel companion as MyTribe101 drivers and guides cannot provide individualized help. As our coaches are not equipped with wheelchair ramps, all tour members must be able to mount 3 or 4 steps into coach. MyTribe101 is not responsible for denial of services by any of our suppliers. Due to space restrictions, passengers wishing to take wheel chairs, oxygen tanks, walkers or other assistive devices must send a request in writing for approval. MyTribe101 reserves the right to remove any individual from a tour who has not provided the advance notification.
COACH TRANSPORTATION: Coach tours are usually operated by 48 seat motor coaches. When passenger numbers are low, a smaller coach may be used.
TOUR DIRECTOR: The entire land portion of all motorcoach tours is conducted by a professional driver/guide and/or tour director as indicated for each tour. When numbers on a coach tour fall below 25 persons the operator reserves the right to substitute our tour director with a qualified driver/guide.
ACCOMMODATION: Land arrangements are provided as described in each tour program. MyTribe101 reserves the right to substitute hotels for accommodations in similar categories.
MEALS: Meals are provided as specified in each tour program. Dinners in hotels are on a table d'hóte basis. Please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions or special considerations, and we will do our best to accommodate you. MyTribe101 and partnering restaurants and hotels will make every effort to accommodate dietary restrictions; however, there is no guarantee that we will be able to accommodate all food intolerances/special diets. It is the individual's responsibility to let MyTribe101 know if they have any food allergies or restrictions when they make a booking. MyTribe101 will not be held responsible for any passengers not informing us of food allergies or dietary restrictions.
VISITS, ENTERTAINMENT AND OTHER FEATURES: MyTribe101 reserves the right to substitute visits, entertainment and other features when establishments are closed or cannot be visited for reasons beyond our control.
MyTribe101 CANCELLATIONS: If it becomes necessary to cancel a tour prior to departure, MyTribe101 will offer the next available date at no additional land cost or will make a full refund of all monies paid to MyTribe101. MyTribe101 cannot accept responsibility for any additional costs or fees relating to such a tour booking or for any cancellation penalties due to non-refundable airfares.
GUARANTEED COACH TOURS: Due to events beyond our control, it may be necessary for MyTribe101 to cancel a guaranteed coach tour. Under these circumstances we will offer either the next available date at no additional land cost or 100% refund of all payments made to MyTribe101.
LUGGAGE: Handling of one piece of luggage per person is included in the cost of all coach tours. Only one suitcase per person is permitted and size should not exceed 30 x 20 x 10 inches and weight should be under 50lbs. Luggage is carried at owner's risk throughout the tour unless insured. Hand baggage and small articles such as coats, umbrellas or cameras are entirely in the care of the passengers.
TIPS: Tips for personal services and to tour directors and drivers are not included in tour cost and left to your discretion.
CHILDREN: Children 8 or over are charged the full adult rate (less 10% discount) and must travel with an adult.
SMOKING POLICY: Smoking is not allowed on the motorcoach but frequent stops are made throughout the day.
NOT INCLUDED: All items of a personal nature (room service, beverages, telephone charges, laundry, special food requests, etc.) and meals not specified on the tour itinerary are not included and must be paid by the passenger.
UNUSED TOUR ARRANGEMENTS: MyTribe101 cannot make refunds or exchanges for unused accommodations, services or features of any tour unless agreed upon prior to departure.
CLAIMS OR DISPUTES: You should submit to MyTribe101 in writing no later than 28 days after the end of the tour.
LAW: Passenger contract with MyTribe101 is subject exclusively to Irish Law and Jurisdiction for Irish Tours.
RESPONSIBILITY: MyTribe101 Limited, Grand Canal House, Upper Grand Canal Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, is not responsible for any personal injury, property damage or other loss a passenger incurs on any tour arising from acts or omissions by any air carrier, public transport company, hotel, car rental company, subcontractor or other person or organisation, whether or not such company is rendering any services supplied on the tour. All tickets and vouchers are issued and supplied subject to the foregoing and to any and all terms and conditions under which transportation and services are provided. . Without limitation MyTribe101 is not liable for any direct, indirect, consequential, or incidental damage, injury, death, loss, accident, delay, inconvenience or irregularity of any kind which may be occasioned by reason of any act or omission beyond its control, including, without limitation any willful or negligent act, failure to act, breach of contract or violation of local law or regulation of any third party such as an airline, train, hotel, bus, taxi, van, local ground handler or guide, financial default or insolvency of any supplier and/or restaurant which is, to, or does supply any goods or services for this trip. MyTribe101 is not liable for any loss, injury, death or inconvenience due to delay or changes in schedule, overbooking of accommodation, default of any third party, attacks by animals, sickness, the lack of appropriate medical care, evacuation to same, if necessary, weather, strikes, acts of God or government, acts of terrorism, or the threat thereof, force majeure, war, quarantine, epidemics, or the threat thereof, criminal activity, or any other cause beyond its control. MyTribe101 reserves the right at its sole discretion to alter the itinerary as it may deem necessary or advisable. MyTribe101 reserves the right at its sole discretion to decline to accept or retain any passenger on any of its tours if it deems accepting or retaining any such person as being detrimental to the tour. In the event any passenger is removed from a trip, MyTribe101’s only obligation is to refund to that person that portion of the payment allocable to unused services. Any disclaimer of liability by MyTribe101 under this clause is enforceable to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. Each of the provisions of this clause is severable and if any such provision is held by any court or other competent authority to be illegal, void or unenforceable in whole or in part, the legality, validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions of this clause shall not be affected or impaired. Changes in the RESPONSIBILITY CLAUSE can be made only in writing signed by an officer of MyTribe101.
IMPORTANT: MyTribe101 accepts no responsibility for losses or expenses due to delay or changes in schedules, flight cancellations or misconnections due to mechanical problems, sickness, quarantine, weather, acts of God, strikes, government actions, war, terrorism or other circumstances beyond its control. Passengers must bear all such losses or expenses. To guard against unforeseen circumstances, we insist you travel with a comprehensive travel insurance policy which you must purchase at home before travelling on tour with MyTribe101.
VALIDITY: Rates in this website are valid from 1st January 2014 to 31st December 2015 and are quoted on a per person, sharing twin room basis. All prices are shown in Euro and are calculated on currency rates and fares existing on July 1, 2014. MyTribe101 reserves the right to alter prices at any time prior to departure and without prior notice if circumstances so warrant. Any devaluation or revaluation of currencies may affect published prices.
