Hi, I'm John Reid traced family back to farm in South Africa called Bergplaats near Jagersfontein, Christopher Reid sailed out, arriving in Algoa Bay 1820, I believe on board the Aurora. His son visited Ireland and left a headstone in the Rathmichael graveyard south of Dublin to remember the family. Thats as far back as I can get with the family, anyone have other info?
