These people are not famous that I know of. It's just as far back as I can go, then, I hit a dead end. William Meharg DOB 1824 Married to Susanna Kennedy Meharg. His son was Hugh Meharg DOB 1850 Married to Mary (Kelly) Meharg.(M. aprox. 7-6-1867)Possible son Joseph Meharg DOB 1874 Clough, Down, Ireland 3-3-1874. Baptized- Clough, Down, Ireland. Then Hugh Meharg has a son named James Meharg DOB 1884. He came to USA. He is my Great grandfather. If I have the correct Hugh Meharg, he may also have a brother named Thomas, 2 years younger. Making his yr of birth around 1849 and making Hugh's year of birth around 1847. I believe Hugh has a son named Hugh as well, making him a brother to my great grandfather James. So, William Meharg year of birth 1824 is as far back as I can find. I got a little mixed up and never got further than that. I wrote down that William's father may also be a William too. But, I have no dates or other information. If you are related to any of these people or have further knowledge of this geological line, can you please share your information with me?
