I'll never forgot all those amazing times and the people there. And now thinking back I'm truly disappointed i moved from Ballycastle, (in which the Island is just slightly off), and I would do anything to move back there, actually if i could i would live in the Rathlin i grew up in...

Well I haven't been in a few years, but I visited it a lot and even stayed there, camping or in the holiday house. It's a lovely place. The locals are very nice.

There is a RSPB Seabird Centre, where puffins, guillemots, razorbills and kittiwakes can be viewed during the summer months. It is also home to some magnificent views, on clear days Donegal, the North Antrim coastline, the island of Islay and the Mull of Kintyre can be seen.

There is a beach, park, potters, pub, restaurent, few shops, 3 lighthouses and more (but i mainly stayed at the aroubd the quay area).

It also has some history, it is believed that there is a cave in which Robert the Bruce had ran off to when he lost against the English king Edward 1. But whilst he was hiding here he noticed a spider who was trying to make a web but kept falling but despite his failing he kept on trying. The spider inspired Bruce to keep on moving on and never give up.

There is loads more to this beautiful Island, i so wish i could go back but still being a child, i cannot. I do hope though that many others can share the lovely experience i had .
